Atlassian’s head of engineering Agnes Ro has experienced this first-hand. The latest episode of Arrow season 7 may have just built the groundwork for the future version of William Clayton to be revealed as the new Green Arrow. The Arrow season 7 premiere replaced the show’s traditional format of flashbacks with flash-forwards, which will last until Arrow ends. We are still sticking to our Mayish prediction of iPhone3G rollout – about a year after the the original announcement. Also, this is about the timewhen Japan, who’s networks aren’t compatible with EDGE, and the rest of Asia should start seeing the iPhone. Also expect the EDGE iPhones to take two price cuts of $100 each before then. One to eliminate the 8Gb iPhone in 1-2 months. Another for when the 3G model comes out to clear the EDGE iPhone inventory....

AT&T recently revealed some of its Q3 data, and the carrier says it saw 900,000 fewer smartphone upgrades compared to the year ago quarter. A recent Bloomberg piece suggests that the AT&T drop in year-over-year smartphone sales could be a sign that the iPhone 8 isn’t doing so hot. It does mention that AT&T’s Q3 only included about a week of iPhone 8 sales which isn’t enough to make a judgment, and that the data includes all smartphones, not just iPhones (although it’s amazing to think about one smartphone model being able to influence an entire quarter of carrier sales in one week)....

Netflix announces that part two of Arrested Development season 5 will premiere on March 15. Despite practically universal critical acclaim, it was cancelled by Fox after three seasons due to low ratings. Update: Pricing has just been announced, at $3,799. Pricey, but actually not bad value in a market that had five-figure pricing not so long ago. ASUS today revealed that it will launch a 31.5-inch 4k monitor late next month, its 3840×2160 pixels allowing four 1080p HD videos to display full-size on the same screen without overlap. A 4k monitor in such a small package is made possible by using an IGZO panel, whose smaller transistors enable greater pixel density, and is likely to be in the same league (and possibly from the same manufacturer) as the 32-inch Sharp panel we saw at CES....

Arrow is going through some big behind-the-scenes changes for season 7, as Beth Schwartz has been named the new showrunner.
