AT&T has announced some nice upgrades for its Unlimited Elite customers today. Subscribers to the Elite plan will now see no throttling based on data use, the hotspot allowance increase to 40GB, and the included HBO Max subscription now works with 4K content over cellular. AT&T announced the news in a press release today with all of the upgrades arriving to Unlimited Elite users for free: AT&T notes that there’s nothing Unlimited Elite customers have to do to get the new features, “we’re automatically adding this benefit to the existing plan, so you don’t have to do a thing....

Asymco’s Horace Dediu has estimated that Apple Watch sales since launch total 33M, generating $12B in revenue. Of those numbers, he reckons 15M were sold in the past 12 months, with sales in this period totalling $4.9B. While analysts are never shy of issuing estimates, Dediu does have a good basis for arguing that his numbers are solid – and for his prediction that there’s much more to come …...

The Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is used to resolve IP addresses into MAC addresses (hardware addresses). Computers in a network send messages to each other through MAC addresses. At an initial stage of communication, the computers are only aware of their allocated IP addresses on the network. The ARP plays the role of making an ARP request from the requesting device on the network by querying the IP addresses on a receiving device for a MAC address....

Brandon Routh’s Superman being a part of the Arrowverse was foreshadowed three years before it was officially announced he would return to the role as part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths event. Leading board game publisher Asmodée has announced a new entertainment division that will develop movies, TV shows, and more. The French gaming giant has been on an acquisition spree in recent years, growing its already-impressive catalog of board/card games and video games based on them. Their products range from family-friendly to high-end strategic games, and they’re known for creating their own products like Dungeon Twister. However, Asmodée has acquired the rights to plenty of popular board games produced by other board game companies over the years, most notably Mayfair Games, which had previously sold the English publishing rights to The Settlers of Catan to Asmodée....

IDG News Service reports AT&T has experienced a security breach that allowed employees working on behalf of a smartphone unlocking service to access personal information, call records and Social Security numbers of customers. The second-hand unlocking market, which sees services like Chronic Unlocks charging to remove software locks on devices preventing them from being used on other carriers, continues to be somewhat of a grey area. Earlier this year the US House of Representatives passed a bill that reversed an earlier decision by the Library of Congress to make unlocking a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, but it received criticism from the Electronic Frontier Foundation and other industry watchers....

Arlo has today started rolling out HomeKit support for two of its Arlo Base Stations. These updates enable HomeKit support for the Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 security cameras, fulfilling a promise made by the company in January. During CES this year, Arlo announced that it would make HomeKit support available for the Arlo Pro and Pro 2 sometime during the first quarter. While it missed that Q1 deadline, the update is now available....

The latest episode of Arrow explains the show’s big time travel twist. Earlier in the season, Oliver’s mission in the present and the adventures of his adult children in the flashforwards finally merged into one story when Mia (Katherine McNamara), Connor (Joseph David-Jones), and William (Ben Lewis) were mysteriously teleported to present-day Star City. It was there that they encountered Team Arrow for the first time.
