New Arrowverse crossover set images reveal Grant Gustin in a full Green Arrow costume. The annual DC TV event gears up for another outing this December with  Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl all partaking while DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is sitting this one out. Titled “Elseworlds,” the overall narrative will be told in three parts, each night corresponding to one of the involved Arrowverse series.

Filming for the TV event has been going on for a few days now with several set images making their way online and giving fans a peek at what to expect in this year’s special. A couple of promo posters have also been rolled out in celebration of the upcoming crossover. And while fans wait for more official marketing materials, set photos are keeping everyone amused right now, the latest of which reveals Gustin as the Green Arrow.

Courtesy of Twitter user Gliceria comes a couple of images from the set of  Arrowverse’s “Elseworlds.” The twin image features Stephen Amell (in his Flash suit) and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, as well as a full reveal of Gustin rocking the Green Arrow costume. The images were taken during a filming break with all three actors having smiles on their faces, seemingly goofing around. Check out the photos below.

Aside from Gustin in the Green Arrow costume, fans have also seen a full suit reveal for Amell as the Flash. However, it’s safe to say that Gustin looks infinitely better and more comfortable in his brand new armor than Amell. It looked like Amell’s red suit is too tightfitting (granted, it’s supposed to be that way) while Gustin’s green ensemble appears to be perfectly tailored to his physique. That said, considering that some additional VFX work will go into the raw shots for Elseworlds, Amell in the Scarlet Speedster’s iconic suit can still look significantly different on the small screen. Fans have also seen Hoechlin sporting Superman’s classic red and blue suit, as well as the infamous black variant.

Specific plot details for this year’s Arrowverse are still being tightly kept under wraps. Despite the narrative implications having the subtitle “Elseworlds,” Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim has gone on record to say that the events of the upcoming crossover will fit in the current continuity, which makes the persona switch between Oliver Queen and Barry Allen more intriguing. Aside from the usual key players, this year’s crossover will also feature a slew of new faces like  Ruby Rose as Kate Kane aka. Batwoman, Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane, LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor, Jeremy Davies as villain Dr. John Deegan, and Cassandra Jean Amell as the wife of Mr. Freeze.
