Arrow co-star David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle on the long-running CW series, promises fans will get answers to one of the show’s lingering mysteries: Diggle’s connection to the Green Lantern Corps. After an impressive eight-year run, Arrow is just days away from airing its series finale, but new comments from Ramsey could hint at bigger plans on the horizon for his character. As concern about slowing iPhone sales continues, Bloomberg today highlights one Apple supplier that has not yet cut its revenue forecasts. That supplier is Skyworks Solutions, who provides radio frequency chips for the iPhone and relies on Apple for half of its revenue. The first Apple supplier to reduce revenue guidance for the holiday quarter was Lumentum, who supplies Face ID components to Apple. On November 12th, Lumentum said it was asked by an unnamed customer to cut orders by 30 percent....

Next year Ubisoft’s massively successful historical sci-fi adventure game series Assassin’s Creed is making the brave leap from consoles and PCs to the big screen, as Michael Fassbender plays dual roles in a new story based on the mythos of the games. Set partly in modern times and partly in Spain during the Spanish Inquisition, Assassin’s Creed tells the story of Callum Lynch (Fassbender), a man who uses a machine called the Animus to unlock his genetic memory and experience the life of his ancestor - an Assassin called Aguilar (also played by Fassbender)....

The team on The Flash has known about the events of Flashpoint for a few weeks now, but last night’s ‘Invasion!’ episode saw Barry reveal his timeline-altering mistake to the heroes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Oliver Queen, John Diggle, and the Legends learned of Barry’s trip to the past, where he saved his mother from Reverse-Flash, returning to a present where Caitlin became Killer Frost, Cisco had lost his brother, and Diggle’s daughter Sara had become Diggle’s son, John Jr....

Romance is part of most superheroes’ stories, and with the Arrowverse on the CW, it’s no surprise that there have been quite a few relationships. There are seven seasons of Arrow, five seasons of The Flash, and four seasons each of Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow after all. Some of these relationships have had positive effects, both on the characters involved and the series. Others, however, have not, changing how characters are viewed or simply being doomed from the start....

Rumored to be starting in the first week of October, we’ve heard that AT&T will start throttling the data speeds of the network’s top data hogs. The first Avatar will be available at launch on Disney+. Disney is in the final days of promoting the debut of its highly anticipated streaming service. Disney+ is set to include over 800 titles at launch with just about every Disney film or TV show imaginable being available right away for subscribers. Additionally, the service will offer up exclusive programming like The Mandalorian, the first live-action Star Wars series. Those who have already signed up for Disney+ will soon have access to titles from Star Wars, Marvel Studios, Pixar, and more, but that is just the beginning of what Disney is planning....

The CW’s Arrow not only gave Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) a major place in media once more but also gave birth to a larger DC franchise known as the Arrowverse. The final season focused primarily on setting up the recent Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover which had Oliver give his life to, literally, give birth to a new universe. With Amell’s iteration of the character exiting the franchise that consists of more than five shows, Arrow leaves behind a legacy that consists of 170 episodes to consume....

Oliver Queen has managed to pack a lot of adventure in his five years away from Star City. When Arrow began, it launched season 1 with Oliver returning home a jaded and solitary man. The show spent the first two seasons cutting each episode with flashbacks of what happened to him on the island. The contrast to the man he was versus the man he became was stark, and flashbacks were tense, action packed, and an interesting narrative twist....

The Arrowverse has grown into a very impressive superhero franchise in its own right. What started out as Arrow soon welcomed The Flash, adopted Supergirl from CBS and added the Legends of Tomorrow and Constantine to its mix. There were even additions of the CW Seed animated character Vixen in a live-action cameo. Along the way, there have been crossover events between the shows and some impressive comic book stories brought to life....

Arrow, during its run, introduced a vast number of DC Comics characters, from bigger ones to some of the more obscure ones that would become big players in the Arrowverse. One of them was Rene Ramirez a.k.a. Wild Dog. He was played by Rick Gonzalez, who joined the show in the fifth season and became a series regular for the following three seasons. The character, who debuted in the comics back in 1987, got reimagined for Arrow for his live-action debut....
